"Kathy Said"
The best story is when “Kathy said” that Donovan my son needed to have his picture taken with a box of Kellogg’s cereal and send it in because “Kathy said” I should be on a box of cereal. A place where I belong!
Actually I have several stories since I have visited Kathy’s chair for the past 25+ years…….what I will say is that if I have arrived at the salon in a bad place “emotionally, mentally” I always leave Kathy’s chair in a good place, motivated, uplifted, and with a new great DO. Of course, for about the past 16 mos. I have been in a way better place

I was teasing my clients hair, but instead of smoothing it out and finishing it we left it sticking straight up. We were playing around and i took the cape off and she thanked me for making her look beautiful. Everyone in the salon was so confused but realized we were joking and laughed. So now when i tease someones hair we call it liberty spikes when it is sticking straight up…
